The UN experts announced that at least 12 Kolbers have been killed this year by Iran's border forces or the Revolutionary Guards. They demanded that the killing of Kolbaran and Sohbaran be stopped and an independent investigation be conducted in this matter.

On Wednesday, September 23 (October 1), UN experts, with the publication of a report published by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, called on the authorities of the Republic of Salami to stop the "lethal use of coercive force against Kurdish and Baloch rebels".

They also called these actions "illegal" and demanded an independent investigation into the deaths caused by the actions of the Salami Republic security forces. The announcement by the UN experts said that the Kurds and the Baloch oilmen "are among the most economically excluded people in Iran who transport goods and fuel in the border areas, while there are very few other ways to provide for the livelihood of these people's families."

In this statement it is emphasized that Colburn and Sukhbaran "do not have to pay with their lives the price of this poverty".
