On Thursday, October 2, the spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Organization confirmed the return of the Tehran-Dushanbe flight to the "Imam Khomeini" airport, and announced that the reason for this was that Turkmenistan had not issued a permit for the Iranian airlines to cross its skies.

According to Majid Akhavan, the Tehran-Dushanbe flight had to return to Tehran after it failed to cross the skies of Turkmenistan.

In this context, the ISNA news agency reported that all flights of Iranian airlines to the United Arab Emirates have been canceled since 24:00.

America included 27 Iranian airlines on the sanctions list that took effect on September 23 (October 1). However, a Mahan Airlines flight that took off from Tehran landed in Guangzhou, China on September 23. However, research indicated that this flight was not listed on the official website of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.
