š¶ Mohsen Razai: Hormuz will not be opened until Iran's conditions are implemented
Mohsen Razai, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, criticized Donald Trump's positions and said that America must implement Iran's conditions and the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened until these conditions are met.
Razai said: "They must meet Iran's conditions, and if they don't, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened." He added that he said in the past that "it is the Americans who are doing something to close the straits".
In response to the US plan to sanction Iranian aircraft, he told the countries of the region not to enter into an "American adventure". He said: "If they don't allow Iranian planes to fly, their airports won't be able to fly either."
The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council added that the countries of the region are friendly to Iran, but they should not be aligned with America and should prevent the spread of the war.
The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council also said about the developments in Yemen, the Houthis are independent and Iran does not want a war between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Razai said before opening the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's conditions must be implemented and the other side must build trust.
He considered that "guarantee" is the second point in Iran's new diplomacy and said that the Strait of Hormuz for Tehran is "the authority and the means to obtain the rights of Iran to its nation".
According to Razai, Iran does not intend to return to the conditions of the past and the US must win the trust of the Iranian people before any negotiations.
Elsewhere in his speech, Razai described America's recent actions as propaganda and said Trump might "do propaganda work on a mountain and in the desert" or fly some planes and film it.
He said America needs such performances, but Iran "doesn't tolerate the same thing."
Razai also mentioned the "meeting" of Abbas Irakchi, Iran's foreign minister, with Steve Witkoff, a representative of the Trump administration, and said that in the meetings with Massoud Pazhkian and Irakchi, it was decided to announce Iran's conditions in America. He emphasized that no new issue was raised and the discussion was only about "notice on Iran's conditions". Razai said: "Until our conditions are met, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened and we will not negotiate."
