According to the Financial Times, the Persian Gulf countries have demanded a review of their approach to Iran. After the war exposed the vulnerability of these countries to Iranian attacks and damaged the credibility of the US in the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates emphasized the need to adopt a "new approach" and Qatar demanded the creation of a regional "security framework" with the participation of Tehran.

During a conference on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar, described the war against Iran that America and its captives began in March 1404 as a "wake-up call."

According to him, the countries of the Persian Gulf should act "as a region, with responsibility and cooperation among themselves and make sure they have good relations with Iran." He added: "We are trying to achieve this goal. Our regional partners also believe in it."
