Masoud Paz'Kian, President of Iran, left for New York on Tuesday, September 22 (September 31) to attend the UN General Assembly. Before the flight, while emphasizing that he would actively defend the positions of the Salami Republic in international forums, he said he would 'bring the message of the Iranian nation to the world'.

Paz'Kian added: 'We will express our oppression and authority in a meeting with politicians, representatives of various movements, cultural centers, and media.' According to him, the Salami Republic has gone to the negotiation table several times and signed agreements, but the other side 'did not fulfill its commitments and the documents were violated.'

The President of Iran is set to deliver a speech on behalf of the Salami Republic at the UN General Assembly on Wednesday. He is the highest-ranking official of the Salami Republic, which entered the American arena since the start of the Middle East war following U.S. attacks and Israeli prisoners on Iran in February. The visit of Iranian officials to New York takes place while the shadow of tension and confrontation still dominates Tehran and Washington.
