According to the AFP news agency, Iraqi Abbas, the foreign minister of the Salami Republic, who arrived in New York with a diplomatic delegation, had a telephone conversation with Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, after his arrival.

According to this report, Irakichi also stated in an interview with Iranian journalists: "Our most important goal is to use an important international platform to protect the legitimacy, rights and interests of the Iranian people."

Esmail Bakaei, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Salami, in a post on Channel X, referring to Iraqichi's arrival in New York, referred to him as "the head of Iran's diplomatic mission" at the UN General Assembly.
