🔸 The US Treasury Secretary announced the suspension of Iranian airlines worldwide

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant announced that the operations of all Iranian commercial airlines will be suspended worldwide from Wednesday, September 23 (October 1).

Besant said on Monday, September 21 (30 Shahrivar) in an interview with CNBC: "Starting from September 23, all Iranian airlines will be closed worldwide."

According to him, this action is part of Washington's extensive secondary sanctions to isolate the civil aviation network of the Salami Republic.

The US Treasury Secretary warned that airports and international hubs that provide services to Iranian aircraft could be completely denied access to the US banking system.

According to him, foreign operators cannot fuel Iranian planes, allow them to land or sell passenger tickets, without accepting the risk of losing access to the dollar settlement. As of now, Salami Republic officials have not responded to this new announcement from Washington.
