🔶 Notice of the criminal prosecution against the agents and organizers of the women's marathon in Tehran

The Prosecutor's Office in Tehran announced that it filed a lawsuit against the agents and organizers of the Tehran Marathon.

The judiciary says that "Sharia and legal standards" were not observed in this competition, and for this reason, the prosecutor's office in Tehran entered this case and declared it a crime.

This event was held on Friday the 27th of Shahrivar in "Bustan Velayat", located in the southwest of Tehran, at the same time as the "Ramaish Janafada" ceremony, and the amazing thing about it was the mandatory presence of women without hijab.

According to ISNA, about 500 female athletes and 1000 male athletes participated in this 10 km marathon.

The presence of women who chose freedom instead of being forced to wear their clothes caused many reactions to this event from within the government and from the media.
