🔶 Sisi in a meeting with the head of the CIA: We support the agreement on Iran
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi announced Cairo's full support for efforts to reach a comprehensive agreement to end the crisis in Iran in a meeting with John Ratcliffe, head of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on Sunday, September 29.
Sisi said such an agreement could help restore security and stability to the region and ensure the release of international shipping.
He also emphasized Egypt's position in supporting the security and sovereignty of Arab countries and said that Cairo rejects any ground attack on these countries.
The Egyptian president also emphasized on solving regional crises through political and diplomatic means and maintaining the unity and territorial integrity of the countries.
In this meeting, relations between Egypt and America, developments in the Middle East, the Palestinian issue, the Sudan crisis and developments in the Horn of Africa were also discussed.
