As Russia's attacks on Ukraine continue, the United States has agreed to a possible sale of at least $2.68 billion worth of air defense equipment to Ukraine.

This action comes after repeated requests from Kiev for additional support to counter Russian attacks.

The US Department of State has informed the Congress of this country that it has made this decision to strengthen and develop Ukraine's air defense and related equipment and services.

The ministry says that Ukraine has requested to purchase equipment, including various types of missiles, launchers, anti-drone radars and support trailers.

This arms deal should now be reviewed by Congress.

In Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, there has been an increase in Russian attacks in recent weeks, and the country's air defense systems are facing difficulties due to the lack of ammunition to combat these attacks.
