The American news channel Bloomberg writes that the inspectors of the Pentagon and the US Department of Defense discovered that partial information, old satellite images and excessive reliance on the aiming tools based on artificial intelligence played a role in the ground attack of the American missile on the "Shajara Taiba" school in Minab on the first day of the war with Iran in February of this year.

This ground attack was carried out using two Tomahawk missiles and aimed at the building of the "Shajara Taiba" elementary school in Hormuzgan district and its area. A ground attack in which at least 150 people were killed, 123 of them children.

The complex was used by the Revolutionary Guards for years, but in 2016 it was repositioned as an elementary school, Bloomberg writes. But according to the report, the intelligence databases used by US Central Command (CENTCOM) failed to reflect this change and instead relied on several years of satellite imagery.
