The French President emphasized the necessity of solidarity and unity due to the establishment of interceptions to increase the cost of living and energy prices in recent weeks in France.

Emmanuel Macron mentioned that the increase in fuel prices is not the result of the government's decisions, but the result of geopolitical conditions and developments.

Meanwhile, today, Friday, September 18, a meeting was held at the Elysee Palace in the presence of party representatives and presidential candidates to discuss the energy crisis. Macron announced before this meeting that he wanted to share all available information on the energy situation with the parties and candidates ahead of the election, which will be held in seven months.
