🔶 Wide support of political prisoners, parties and groups for the general strike in Kurdistan
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network reported that Zainab Jalalyan, Warisha Moradi, Sakina Parwana and Matal Ahmadian, four Kurdish political prisoners incarcerated in Evin Wizd prisons, started a hunger strike on Wednesday the 25th in Shahriwar (September 16) in parallel with the general strike in Kurdistan.
According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, these four political prisoners described the strike as "the most civilized way to express an interception" and said, on the fourth anniversary of the killing of Zeina Mehsa Amini and the beginning of the "General, Zian, Azdi" uprising, they are joining the call for a general strike in Kurdistan with a hunger strike.
A call for a general strike was issued by the "Coalition of Political Parties of Iranian Kurdistan" for Wednesday, September 25. On the eve of this strike, a number of Iranian political parties, currents and national figures, including the Central Council of the "Iran Liberation Congress", the "Federal Congress of Nationalism of Iran" and "Total Solidarity for Liberation and Equality in Iran" issued statements supporting the call for a general strike in the cities of Kurdistan and saw it as a sign of solidarity.
