🔶 China and Iran announced Iraqichi's plan to visit Beijing on Wednesday
China's Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday, September 15 (24 Shahrivar) that Abbas Irakchi, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Salamis, will go to Beijing to meet and talk with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi. According to this announcement, the visit of the head of the diplomatic agency of the Republic of Salami to China will take place tomorrow, Wednesday.
Iraqichi and Wang Yi met last week on the sidelines of the meeting of BRICS member states in New Delhi. Beijing is trying to play a mediating role in resolving the tensions between Washington and Tehran and ending the conflicts between the two countries.
On the one hand, China is considered one of the most important economic partners of the Salami Republic, and on the other hand, it is one of Iran's most important supporters in the diplomatic field.
Abbas Iraqichi's visit to Beijing comes just a week before Chinese President Xi Jinping's planned visit to Washington and his meeting with Donald Trump, his American counterpart.
