Yahya Sari, the military spokesman for the Houthis, announced on Monday that this militia group had fired "dozens of drones and ballistic missiles at military targets" in response to Saudi Arabia's airstrikes.

According to AFP, he said: "Yemen armed forces have carried out a large-scale military operation by targeting military facilities and infrastructure, including hangars of fighter jets, radars, runways, ammunition depots and other targets located at the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mashat.

The Houthi spokesman did not provide further details on the exact number of missiles and drones used and claimed that these attacks caused "significant damage".
