Lala Marzavan, an Iranian actress, received the best actress award in the "Horizons" section of the 82nd Venice Film Festival for the film "Caution", but her speech after receiving this award, especially her sentence about the "cost of liberating Iranian women", became one of the most controversial discussions in Iran's media and cyberspace in recent days.

While some questioned Marzeban due to the sentences of his speech, others supported him against these criticisms and saw his success as an achievement for Iranian cinema.

Jila Sadagi, the host of the radio shows, made a ground attack on Martsavan in a series of Instagram stories and called him "patriotic" and "illiterate". Referring to the children who were victims of the American ground attack and prisoners of Iran, Sadeghi wrote, "Iranian women are free, but our children were victims, our youth were killed" and accused Marzavan of being with the enemy.
