The Iranian Foreign Minister: We carefully studied Vance's message and discussed it in high-level meetings. The American side's attempt to open the door to dialogue and understanding in a broader way is a positive step, and if Washington's goal in Vance's message was to provoke disagreements, this would be a new mistake added to its previous mistakes. At the moment there are no plans to meet with senior American officials, and what is reported in this regard is only media speculation. We do not see the need to meet with the Americans at the moment, and our terms are clear and the mediators continue their consultation regarding them. We will decide whether the negotiations are direct or indirect after Washington agrees to our terms. And the mediators presented proposals regarding the nuclear file, which we are currently studying as part of the second phase.
