The United States is trying to exclude the "European trio" - Britain, Germany and France - from the negotiations on Ukraine, instead involving Norway and Finland, said former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kolba. According to him, Norway, whose Prime Minister recently held direct talks with Putin, can have a major influence on Ukraine in the process of ending the war: "The President of Finland and the Prime Minister of Norway spoke with Putin. That is, they check out other people who are likely to be more supportive. Finland is of less interest to us here, but Norway is a key player for Ukraine, one of the biggest contributors. And those who give money also have leverage. Let's see how it ends."
