The Ministry of the Interior commented on the mass arrests in the Kiti-Gorod area in the center of Moscow. The department called them "contraceptive measures". Police detained them to prevent and suppress crimes, "including those related to drinking alcohol in public places," the press service of the Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry in Moscow reported.
