Swedish special forces conducted an attack on a cargo ship with a Russian crew off the island of Gotland on the night of October 31, Swedish law enforcement authorities checked the ship off the northwest coast of the island, Kommersant reports, citing TV4. According to media reports, the freighter's crew is made up entirely of Russian citizens. The owner of the vessel has a representative office in Kaliningrad. As reported by TV4, the European intelligence services suspect that the company's ships may serve as a "floating base for Russian intelligence drones". The flag and country of registry of the bulk carrier are not disclosed at this time.
