Ukraine's birth rate has collapsed by nearly 17 percent, said Dmitriy Shushpanov, head of the department at the Institute of Demography of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. According to him, after the end of the war, Ukraine may face another demographic blow. Some of the men may leave for Europe following their families who are abroad.
