The head of the Ministry of Transport in Lagod, Sergey Yavtushenko, explained why the maximum amount of payments for cars damaged by shelling is limited to 400 thousand rubles. According to the official, the ceiling of 400 thousand rubles was taken from the law on compulsory car insurance. Everything that exceeds this amount is legally recovered from the culprit in court, but in the case of shelling this mechanism does not work.
