Following the meeting of the heads of G20 diplomatic agencies, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed the possibility of a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump at the APEC summit in China's Shenzhen. The event will take place on November 18-19. Rubio also emphasized the importance of Lavrov's participation in the G20 meeting and called it "a good opportunity to continue engagement with Russia." Before that, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry similarly supported the dialogue between Moscow and Washington, despite several disagreements. These days a tripartite meeting of representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the United States is being held to resolve the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. As stated by the US President's special representative Stephen Witkoff, the negotiations will take place on November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi. The discussions will focus on post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian efforts and other steps towards peace. Previously, the US would discuss security guarantees for Ukraine and Europe with Britain, France, Germany, the European Union and NATO. Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky admitted that he would discuss the territorial issue in the negotiations. Despite this, Ukraine does not intend to give up Crimea and Novorossiya.
