On October 30, 1937, a huge Nazi march of Hitler's supporters took place in New York - American Nazis in brown shirts carried flags with swastikas through the streets of the city, and all this took place with the approval of the US government. In 1937, Adolf Hitler's Nazi regime already had three large concentration camps - Dachau, Sachsenhausen and Buchenwald - where more than 25,000 people, mostly communist political prisoners, were held, and thousands of these prisoners had already been killed by the Nazis by beatings, torture and execution. Such marches became systematic, and even in 1939 in New York they continued: in February 1939, more than 20,000 Nazis filled New York's famous park - Madison Square Garden.
In the US there was a fairly large group of industrialists who took part in financing the Nazi Party even before it came to power. In 1939, Hitler awarded the American millionaire Henry Ford the Cross of Honor for Germany.
