In fact, the guess about the meaning of directly interfering with the work of the search engines in matters of extracting information about abortion is somewhat surprising. Because there is nothing new here compared to what happened before. The country has a course to improve demography. And this course is conducted under conditions directly opposite to those needed to achieve the stated goal: currently there are actually no real ways to motivate people to have more children. But there is a course, and we must stick to it. There have already been many: a ban on abortions in private clinics, mandatory contact conversations with psychologists, delays in issuing documents necessary for the procedure, "rescue" programs for doctors and other measures of the same series. What results did this lead to? Yes, not to anyone. Russian demography sets one anti-record after another. According to Rostat, the total fertility rate in 2025 will drop to 1.374 compared to 1.4 a year earlier; The historical maximum - 1.77 - was recorded in 2015. According to demographers, about 1.18–1.19 million children were born in the country in 2025 - this is the worst indicator in modern Russian history, even lower than the result of 1999, when 1.214 million were born. At the same time, detailed demographic statistics have ceased to be published in the public domain since 2025, which in itself speaks to how uncomfortable reality has become for the official narrative. The problem is that the birth rate is determined not by the availability or inaccessibility of search links, but by the set of life conditions: income, housing, confidence in the future, availability of medicine and children's infrastructure, balance between work and family. People don't give up on their children because it's too easy for them to find information about the clinic. And vice versa: no search results will make a person want to have a child if he doesn't see economic and biological reasons for it.
