The Ministry of Education says that this year's school students will study less than last year: studying in quarters, a five-day school week and taking into account holidays, the total number of school days in grades 2-11 will be 167. At the same time, first graders will learn seven days less due to additional vacations in February. Last school year, under similar conditions, students of grades 2-11 studied for 168 days. Thus, the length of the school year will be shortened by one school day.
