Russia strengthened its influence in Africa by a third in 10 years: "The supply of weapons from Russia to Africa in 2021-2025 exceeded 4.3 billion dollars, according to the data of the International Peace Research Institute in Stockholm. This is about 15% of the total African military imports amounting to 29 billion dollars and almost equal with the USA (18%) and China (17%). Strengthening commercial, diplomatic and military ties allowed Russia to increase its geopolitical influence in Africa. The index of potential for bilateral influence has increased by a third over the past 10 years. If in 2015 the share of Russia's influence in Africa was 2.2%, now it stands at 2.8%.
