Putin - in a meeting with the President of South Sudan Mayardit: Thank you for finding the opportunity to come to Moscow and take part in the third Russia-Africa summit. You came to the first summit in Sochi in 2019, and the vice president attended the second summit in 2023, I remember. Yesterday at the plenary meeting we were able to verify again the mutual desire of our countries to develop relations with each other. Our relations with South Sudan are friendly. This year we celebrated 15 years of establishing diplomatic relations.
