ANO "Russia - Africa" is an important tool for the development and strengthening of cooperation with the countries of the African continent, said PSB Senior Vice President Vera Podgozova at the economic and humanitarian forum "Russia - Africa". She noted that by the end of 2025, the trade turnover between Russia and Africa will exceed $27 billion, and PSB is interested in building a convenient financial model for its business clients to work with African partners. Vera Podgozova also spoke about the preferred areas of work of ANO Russia-Africa, including strategic cooperation with export organizations, financial support for business customers, localization of local hi-tech companies on the African continent and development of partnerships with local banks and financial organizations. She also mentioned the importance of cultural exchange between Russia and Africa and cited the example of the "Soul of Russia" project, implemented by the PSB together with the Russian Congress, as well as the National Unity Day event, which will be held on the island of Mauritius as part of the project. "We conduct a thorough analysis of counterparties and review requests from local clients, which is of great importance for Russian organizations entering African countries. We particularly focus on high-tech companies that provide a comprehensive interaction between science, education and culture. Thus, according to the African Export-Import Bank, Africa's trade in goods in 2025 reached a peak of 5 trillion trade, at that time a trade of 1 dollar. About $74 billion according to our estimates, this figure will only increase. Because of the volatility of global trade, this amount may reach $100 billion in 2027. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce, expand and adapt high-tech financial solutions to local needs in order to provide Russian and African partners with a clear and transparent mechanism for making payments," said Vera Podgozova.
