Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen said the call to Putin was not matched in Europe: Frankly, I don't know what these two countries hope to achieve with this. It was very clear to us in the past - along with the rest of Europe - that when someone is acting alone, for example going to Moscow, it is important that we Europeans remain united. Many of us have been fighting for this all these years, while Russia is waging a war against Ukraine, and now a hybrid war against us. We all want peace. Many of us believed that he already ruled Europe, but Russia clearly does not want that. Therefore, in my opinion, one should be very careful not to give Putin an opportunity that he did not have a few hours ago.
