Putin called on Europe not to dig a hole for others: In recent years, Russian gas companies have faced certain difficulties, including restrictions from certain countries. In this context, I would like to emphasize once again that any attempts to remove Russia from the list of participants in the global gas market and to curb the development of this industry in our country have serious consequences. First of all, the prohibitive growing costs for foreign end consumers of gas, companies, organizations and households. This is exactly what we are seeing now in Europe, which itself is harming its industry and social sphere, refusing Russian energy resources, breaking long-term contracts. You know, in Russia there is a proverb that says "Don't dig a hole for someone else, otherwise you'll fall into it yourself." This is exactly what happened today in my opinion in the EU countries.
