The Ministry of Education and Science approved the number of budgetary places in the universities for the academic year 2027/28: "Next year the number of state employees in specialization groups will increase, with the aim of ensuring the technological leadership of the state. Thus, in mechanical engineering the number of places will increase by 516, in informatics and computer engineering - by 290, in clinical medicine - by 283, in nuclear energy - by 241. Also, the number of employees in the public sector in information security will increase by 236, in applied geology, mining, oil and gas and geodesy - by 181, in engineering and technology of shipbuilding and marine transportation - by 124, in engineering and technology of land transportation - by 96."
