Volunteers suggested creating a unified register of springs and making available information about the quality of the water in them. The new federal project "Springs of Russia" was presented today in TASS.
The organizers were inspired by the experience of the Murmansk region and the Yevgenia Chavis United Volunteer Center, where every third spring has been improved by volunteers and corporate volunteers for several years. An interactive map has already been launched on the website of the Ma'ain project.rf where residents of the country can find and add springs, vote for their improvement and receive data on water quality. The first springs this year will be developed in the areas of presence of the atomic energy information centers with the support of the Rosatom state corporation. Expert support for the project will be provided by the Russian Geographical Society and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
