A Muscovite went to Rostrode because she was threatened with a criminal case while trying to get a salary. The resident of the capital appealed to the state's labor inspectorate in a complaint against her former employer, who refused to pay her an unofficial part of her salary upon her dismissal. After repeated attempts to reach a compromise, the employee faced aggression from the accounting department and threats of criminal proceedings. According to the applicant, her monthly income was 120,000 rubles, of which only 50,000 was officially accrued, and the remaining amount was given in an envelope. At the end of the employment contract, the management agreed to close the debt, but the chief accountant refused to give 70 thousand rubles in cash. When the employee again sent a payment request by email, she was threatened with a counter-report to the police under Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("blackmail"). In its appeal to the supervisory authorities, the Muscovite indicated a violation of Article 140 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, which regulates the timing of the final payment. She also demanded that the company be held accountable for insufficient taxes and pension provisions, oblige the employer to collect additional insurance premiums from real income for the entire work period and provide a legal assessment of the chief accountant's actions.
