What happened in the markets today?
The economic world: In today's transactions of the local gold market, the downward trend of the previous days continued and each gram of 18 karat gold reached a price of 25 million and 357 thousand tomans with a drop of 0.7%.
In the currency market, the sellers had the upper hand and the various parts were accompanied by a price drop. The entire currency was traded with a drop of 0.55% at the level of 257 million and 800 thousand tomans. Among the small pieces, this wave of decline continued so that the half coin reached the figure of 135 million 700 thousand omans with a decrease of 0.84 percent, and the quarter coin stood at the figure of 71 million 900 thousand omans with a decrease of 1.07 percent.
▫ In the currency market, the American bill continued on the corrective path and the Azad dollar retreated to the level of 265 thousand 500 tomans, a drop of 0.46%.
A double trend was recorded in the cryptocurrency market. The market leader, Bitcoin, rose 0.22% to $76,430.
The second largest asset in the market, however, unlike its leader, faced a slight fall and Ethereum retreated with a decrease of 0.20% to a price of $2,239.
