Achieving Operation Muharram; Liberation of one thousand square kilometers of Iranian land. "Operation Muharram" was one of the most important operations of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1361 (solar hijri), which was carried out with the participation of the Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the southeastern areas of Dehloran, west of Ein Khosh, and the border heights of Hamrin. Despite natural obstacles, the resistance of Iraqi forces, and logistical difficulties, the Muharram operation succeeded in liberating a large part of the border areas and strengthening Iran's defensive position on the southern front. Operation Muharram began at 22:05 on November 1, 1361 with the code "Ya Zainab". The command of the operation was the responsibility of the central Qaem camp; Hossein Kharrazi, commander of the Fath camp from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and Brigadier General Manouchehr Dajkam from the Army played a role in directing it. The name Muharram was also chosen because the operation coincided with the fourteenth of this month.
