Iranian athletes prefer the knighthood medal over the championship platform/ The sports community has always been with the people in defense of Iran. Mehdi Mirjalili, the head of the athletes recruitment organization, in an interview with the defense press said: The presentation and recognition of the athletes who, due to adherence to their values, ignore winning medals and the championship platform, is done in the direction of promoting the culture of wrestling and creating a role model for the younger generation. This year we presented the martyr "Hossein Delil Akbari" who was murdered during the Holy Defense period as the outstanding saint of the year. This senior killer was a member of the national youth basketball team and was murdered on the way to defend the country. So far we have held two National Congresses of Sports Martyrs and the report on the actions taken, including the books, films and documentaries produced on these Martyrs, was presented in a meeting with our Martyr Leader.
