Pazkhian: Iran supports any understanding to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the Islamic countries The President, emphasizing the need to strengthen the unity and convergence between the Islamic countries, said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, out of firm belief and serious desire, is ready to take steps in the direction of deepening regional cooperation, resolving differences of opinion and utilizing the common capabilities of the Islamic countries, and supporting any understanding that will lead to strengthening the unity, security and cohesion of the region". Condemning the crimes committed by Israel in Gaza, Lebanon and other countries in the region, Pazkhian noted that the scope of these attacks also extended to the Islamic Republic of Iran and during the attacks leaders, commanders, scientists and even students of our country were murdered. These actions have no legal, human and rational justification, and this makes the necessity of adopting a joint approach of the Islamic countries to deal with aggression and insecurity even more obvious.
