The French Foreign Ministry announced the participation of European countries in the negotiations on Ukraine in Abu Dhabi.

The European side will participate in the bilateral negotiations between Ukraine, Russia and the USA in Abu Dhabi. This was announced by the French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro.

"The Europeans will be well represented, and France will be present in Abu Dhabi to take part in these discussions. I still can't say who exactly will represent France, but she will definitely be there," he said on RTL television.

He emphasized that no discussion "affecting the future of the continent" can take place without taking into account the expectations and demands of the European countries.

The negotiations will take place in the capital of the United Arab Emirates on November 10 and 11 in Abu Dhabi. Earlier, the special envoy of the President of the United States Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, stated that they will not be triangular, but Ukrainian-Russian, and the US will act as mediators. According to him, the main topics of the meeting will be ensuring security after the end of the war, de-escalation, humanitarian issues and the next steps towards peace.

Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to President Vladimir Putin, will remain Russia's chief negotiator. The head of the Ukrainian delegation will be the head of the country's foreign intelligence service, Rustam Umerov.
