In Russia, about 20 billion rubles will be returned from Antoli Chobais according to Rosnano's claims; TASS reports this with reference to the court and other materials. In total, 14 enforcement proceedings were opened against the former head of Rosnano, and his assets were seized in three of them. The first enforcement proceedings were opened in April 2025 – at that time the court seized the assets and funds of Chobais and other senior Rosnano managers for 5.6 billion rubles, and in April 2026 the court approved the company's claim at an arbitration in Moscow. In addition to Chobais, the defendants in this lawsuit were Yuri Odltsov, Oleg Kislev, Boris Podolski, German Pikoy, Dmitri Pimkin, Vladimir Ovtisian and Nikolai Tichinin. Rosnano sought to recover from them 3.9 billion rubles and $20.45 million as compensation for losses during the implementation of the Plastic Logic project to develop flexible tablets for schoolchildren, which the company said did not meet its targets. In December 2025 Rosnano filed another lawsuit against Chobais and the company's former senior managers – regarding the Karcum project, which aimed to create production of magnetoristor-based random-access memory. In this case, the court seized Chobais's assets and accounts for 11.9 billion rubles. In April 2026, according to the agency, court officials opened the third enforcement proceeding – to seize assets worth 5.5 billion rubles.
