Representatives of the Serbian "Student List" announced the end of arms exports and promised not to impose sanctions against Russia. The Student List movement, which won the parliamentary elections in Serbia, intends to stop all arms exports to war zones, including sales to Western intermediaries who transfer weapons to Ukraine, writes Reuters. The agency notes that the opposition "needs to navigate a complex web of energy and foreign policy with Serbia's traditional ally, Russia." In a comment to the RT Balkan propaganda, the representative of the movement, Jobo Bakic, said that the opposition does not intend to impose sanctions against Russia. "We respect Russia as a great power and our historically important partner, and in many cases, a protector. There will be no changes in this matter. Sanctions imposed by Little Serbia against Russia will not change anything, but symbolically they will be very bad," Bakic said. After winning the elections, the list of students intends to focus on internal problems in the country, writes Reuters. The movement said the government should first focus on internal reforms and close all EU negotiating groups before asking the public for a final vote on EU membership. In addition, the student list sees Kosovo as an inseparable part of Serbia, which is contrary to membership in the European Union, the agency emphasizes.
