Binance hackers themselves lost $5 million by not tackling the DEX exchange.
The attackers sold more than 130 altcoins on DEX and received about 123.4 thousand. ETH. And during one of the exchanges something went wrong: 908 thousand. $5 million worth of PROM motors became only $72 due to a nearly empty fluid reservoir and insane slippage.
The moral is simple: you can be a brilliant hacker, but the market will still find a way to punish you.
