Yesterday Roblox published a quarterly letter to investors with interesting statistics. The graph clearly shows that the release of Astra and Opus significantly accelerated the creation of new games and almost all games in the top 100 were created with AI. I can't imagine a reason to buy a game made without AI - it would be an expensive waste. But globally, the gaming industry is already seeing a renaissance. What used to take two years of development is done in a few weeks by a good developer. The CEO of epic games recently wrote that AI is becoming the main feature of the unity engine and it will be the main driver for the increase in the number of cool games (also sloppy games, but it's not so important because they won't make money).
