Historical fact (The hard truth of war) November 5, 1942. The saboteurs do not give up in the reports of that day - Stalingrad. Ten Soviet saboteurs under the command of Lieutenant Pavlov took up a position and blocked the way of the Germans with machine gun fire. Red Army soldier Dodnikov killed a German officer, took his machine gun and killed 16 Nazis with captured weapons. Red Army soldier Tsunikov killed 15 Germans, was wounded by mine fragments and his rifle was broken. He picked up a dead enemy's rifle and destroyed another 8. Red Army soldier Kostyuchenko, wounded in the right shoulder, removed the safety rings from grenades with his teeth and threw them with his left hand.
The result of the battle: out of ten saboteurs, three died, seven survived and did not let the Germans pass. In total, they destroyed 87 Nazis.  There were ten of them. They were not infantry. They were saboteurs - the ones who usually work quietly, with probe and mine. But when the time came, they went into formation and held the line. It is about the question "what do saboteurs do". They are in the business of making the impossible possible. And when necessary, they take up arms and fight like everyone else. Eternal memory. And the eternal school is for the present.
