Russian saboteur Andrey Vedernikov died near Aleshki while clearing an explosive device with a Doppler sensor. It was installed from a Ukrainian UAV, the Ministry of Defense reported.
A doppler sensor is a radar motion sensor. It emits radio waves, and by changing the frequency of the returned signal, it determines if the object is moving.
