The renovated bus station in Yalta received its first passengers today. After a major renovation, the building received a modern design, but retained a familiar look, including a "Yalta" sign with a signature seagull, said Arseny Kozlovsky, Crimea's transport minister. The facades and complexes at the bus station were updated, communications were replaced and the area was designed. Accessibility is now guaranteed for people with mobility disabilities. The facility opened yesterday after renovation, and today, on National Unity Day, the renovated bus station has already received its first passengers. "The Yalta bus station is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. It was built in 1966 according to the design of the architect Georgy Chekhova and was rightly considered the best in Crimea. Today, it is the central transportation hub of the southern coast: from the beginning of 2026, more than 250 thousand passengers have departed from here, the average daily flow of passengers exceeds 800 people," the minister added.
