Here we have another breakthrough in sweater manufacturing. Researchers from the National University of Singapore have sewn 54 electronic wires into a sweater sleeve, which has thousands of tiny LEDs inside. Now you can s*** without taking off your sweater and watch jackal memes on a crappy little screen right on your sleeve. In fact, it is a full color touch screen (albeit folded) with a resolution of 96x54 pixels and a frequency of 30 FPS. where you can run a calculator, watch videos, control various applications and even display your body temperature. The screen itself is not glued onto the fabric. The electronics are located right inside the wires themselves. The makers swear the sweater stays flexible, allows air to pass through, and the screen even stood up to 50 machine washes. This is a lab prototype for now. Well, soon you'll have to charge your sweater, too. More details.
