Disclosure of information on market transactions The Central Bank of Russia is exploring the possibility of disclosing anonymous market data it receives from reports of regulated organizations. We suggest discussing with market participants which information is interesting, in which format and which channels are most convenient to receive it. Currently, information asymmetry remains in the market: some exchange data is only available in aggregate or on a paid basis, and information on over-the-counter transactions is presented in parts and is not transparent. The publication of the latest data by the Bank of Russia will ensure equal access to market participants to information, as well as use the data to create analytical products. In this case, confidentiality requirements will be maintained. For example, related transactions may receive special notations. Our site already publishes data on over-the-counter transactions with ruble interest rate swaps. After discussion with the market, the list of available information can be expanded. We accept comments and suggestions about the concept by email difr_market data up to and including December 1st.
