The Aqaba process is an international initiative in the field of combating terrorism and violent extremism, launched by King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan in 2015. The platform format brings together heads of state, heads of intelligence services, military departments and international organizations to develop a shared understanding of threats and agree on practical response measures.
