Uzbekistan offered to open a program for studying Uzbek language and literature at an Indian university. The proposal was made as part of a memorandum of cooperation between the State Pedagogical Institute Namgan and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), the Danio news agency reports. The parties plan to attract young Indians to summer schools in Namangan and hold professional development programs for teachers.
